• Taylor approves retail at Hardin Bridge (daily-tribune.com) — A new mixed-use proposal near Hardin Bridge Road was scaled back when Commissioner Steve Taylor approved only the retail portion, citing weak demand for apartments even though some are already zoned in Adairsville and Emerson. He also backed major grant funding requests for sidewalks along Cassville Road and widening Euharlee Road, projects that will shape commuting and connectivity for Bartow County residents, including those in Adairsville.
