Join the Bartow History Museum for Family Day – Stars, Stripes &amp; Stories: America 250, a family-friendly celebration honoring America’s 250th anniversary through hands-on activities, interactive experiences, and engaging storytelling.
Visitors of all ages are invited to explore the people, events, and ideas that have shaped the United States while enjoying a variety of America 250-themed crafts, games, and educational activities. Test your knowledge with Presidential Guess Who, embark on a 13 Colonies Scavenger Hunt, and discover even more interactive experiences designed to bring history to life.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to view Voices &amp; Votes: Democracy in America, a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian's Museum on Main Street program in partnership with Georgia Humanities.&nbsp;
Through play, participation, and storytelling, children and adults alike will connect with America’s past while celebrating the values of unity, independence, and cultural heritage. Whether you’re creating a craft, solving a scavenger hunt, or learning something new about our nation’s history, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The G&amp;G Field Day Classic expands upon the tradition of the Annual Shoot at <a href="https://www.barnsleyresort.com/?msclkid=6b6a960a2f4e16ddc9e3fc52c0affc51&amp;utm_source=bing&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=bing_branded_search_usa&amp;utm_term=barnsley%20gardens%20georgia%20resort&amp;utm_content=Resort%20-%20Exact%20Match" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Barnsley Resort</a>, evolving from a sporting clays tournament into a full-day celebration of the sporting life—welcoming seasoned shooters, first-timers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
The experience centers on two shooting opportunities: a classic team sporting clays tournament and a beginner-friendly field school. Beyond the course, guests may explore a curated retail sporting market, gun dog demonstration, and a feast in the field featuring a whole hog roast, craft cocktails, and live music by <a href="https://alexrogersmusic.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Alex Rogers.</a> The day culminates with an awards presentation and a final toast to the day.
Beginner Field School Clinic
Designed for beginners, this includes Saturday breakfast, beginner shooting clinic, gun and gear rental, cocktails, and lunch.
This new addition to the day allows first-time shooters, and anyone looking to brush up on their aim, a shot at personalized instruction. Guests start at the five-stand for a safety briefing, then move into instructor-led demonstrations and one-on-one guidance on the fundamentals. From there, they head to the course to shoot a series of stations alongside their instructors.
Annual Shoot
Designed for novice to advanced shooters, this includes Saturday breakfast, Annual Shoot entry, gun and gear rental, cocktails, and lunch.
In this classic team tournament, shooters take on a 15-station, 100-round friendly sporting clays tournament, competing for top team and highest individual score.
Field &amp; Feast Lunch
Designed for guests who prefer to enjoy the day off the course, this includes Saturday cocktails and lunch.
Guests are welcomed to the Barnsley Resort Sporting Grounds to browse the sporting market, take in the gun dog demonstration, enjoy cocktails throughout the afternoon, and gather for a feast in the field featuring a whole hog roast, and live music by Alex Rogers. The day culminates with an award presentation and a final toast to the day. Field &amp; Feast Lunch experience is included with the Annual Shoot and Beginner Field School Clinic tickets, or available to purchase on its own.
