• Fatal hit-and-run suspect in custody (wrganews.com) — A man wanted in connection with a deadly weekend hit-and-run was arrested during a traffic stop in Taylorsville on Tuesday night, after tips from the public and help from Bartow County deputies. Investigators say the victim later died at a local hospital, and Floyd County Police are still piecing together what happened. Anyone who was near Chulio and Cole roads early August 22 is urged to contact detectives.
