• Black bear safely relocated after hours-long operation in Hartford (wtvy.com) — Hartford police say the black bear that had residents on alert Thursday has been safely captured near Sixth Avenue and Lily Street and relocated back to the woods. Multiple local agencies worked together to keep people safe, and officers are reminding everyone to secure trash and pet food and to call Hartford Police immediately if another bear is spotted in town.
