• Virgie B. Barber (bainbridgega.com) — Longtime Bainbridge resident Virgie B. Barber, remembered for her decades at Bainbridge State Hospital and active service at Bethany Baptist Church, passed away Friday at age 81. Friends and family can honor her life at a Monday morning service at Bethany Baptist Church in Brinson, followed by burial in the church cemetery and a reception with the family.
