• Sample the city: Taste of Hartselle set for June 20 (hartselleenquirer.com) — Hartselle’s Downtown Business League is launching its first-ever Taste of Hartselle on June 20, giving residents a $10 guided tasting tour of downtown restaurants and shops. Starting at Warehouse Coffee, participants can sample local favorites, hear mini history lessons about Hartselle, enjoy live music at the gazebo, and browse sidewalk sales and the farmers market.
   

• Feeding the body and soul: Food ministry provides groceries for 400 people monthly (hartselleenquirer.com) — A Hartselle-based nonprofit, Feeding Families of Alabama, now provides groceries to about 400 people each month from Mt. Tabor Church on Mt. Tabor Road. Founder E’dee Grun, drawing on her own struggles with hunger and illness, runs monthly Monday distributions, stocks local Blessing Boxes, and invites residents to donate fresh food and staples at the church before 5 p.m.
   

• Breedlove, McCaghren lead 20 local athletes on All-State softball team (decaturdaily.com) — Several Hartselle High softball standouts have been named to the Alabama Sportswriters Association All-State team, highlighting a banner year for local programs. RC Wolf, Katie Norgard, Abigail Kubica, Hatsumi Peterson, and Amelia Fox all earned honors alongside top players from Austin, Athens, Lawrence County, and other nearby schools after deep postseason runs.
