• Local health experts to go door to door and survey Birmingham area (wvtm13.com) — Hoover residents may soon get a knock on the door from Jefferson County Health Department staff conducting a 25–30 minute survey on local health needs between September 30 and October 1. Adults 18 and older in selected neighborhoods can choose to participate, helping shape future health programs and services. Staff will wear JCDH shirts and photo IDs so you can verify them.
   

• Alabama High School Football Ranking: Top 25 Teams – Sept. 27 (on3.com) — Hoover High's football team sits at 3–3 in the latest statewide Massey rankings and is currently ranked No. 10 in Alabama. After a heartbreaking 20–17 loss to Knoxville Catholic on a last-second hail mary, the Bucs now prepare to host top-ranked Thompson on October 2, setting up a major home showdown for local fans.
