• Pelham trash rates could rise to $33 amid higher diesel costs (wbrc.com) — Pelham homeowners may see their monthly trash and recycling bill jump from about $27 to nearly $33 starting in January, as city leaders respond to rising diesel and maintenance costs. The City Council will vote Monday on shifting more of the system's cost from the general fund directly onto customers and possibly allowing future automatic rate increases tied to inflation.

- The Husky roamer is back again!
He's in our yard until the grass mowers come. Walked up from CrossCreek Cove. We're on Cahaba Manor Court. Very sweet and friendly with our dog. (Nextdoor Crosscreek) - This guy showed up at my house this morning.
He is an intact Pitt bull. Seems friendly, but he is limping. I have called the city to come get him. (Nextdoor Near Oakcrest Hwy 11)
