• Legion will dispose of old flags (franklincountytimes.com) — With Flag Day approaching, Russellville officials and American Legion Post 64 are reminding residents to retire worn U.S. flags using the drop-off box at the Franklin County Courthouse. The box fills up frequently, and volunteers regularly collect flags to ensure they’re disposed of respectfully and safely, offering a simple way for locals to honor the flag properly.
