Bama Art House Film Series Announces Slate Of Movies For 2026-27

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Bama Art House Film Series will return for its 2026–2027 season at the Historic Bama Theatre, offering a fresh slate of classic films, family favorites and blockbuster hits.

The series, presented by the Arts Council of Tuscaloosa, is designed to provide entertainment for audiences of all ages, with programming scheduled across the summer, fall and winter months.

Individual tickets are priced at $10 for adults, $9 for students and seniors ages 65 and older, and $8 for Arts Council board members and Tuscaloosa County employees.
A summer movie punch card is also available for $70, allowing entry to 10 screenings through July 31.

An optional $15 add-on provides unlimited popcorn for the summer.
The summer lineup begins in June with three recurring series: Bama Blockbusters at 7 p.m., Marvel Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and Morning Movies at 10 a.m.
The season will conclude in February with the “Be My Bamatine” Valentine’s series, featuring romantic comedies.
