Northport To Temporarily Close Northbound Lane Of Harper Road Next Week For Road Work

NORTHPORT, AL — Motorists traveling along Harper Road in Northport next week should expect traffic delays as crews conduct work requiring a temporary lane closure.

Officials announced that the northbound lane of Harper Road will be closed Friday, March 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The closure will affect the stretch of roadway between Buckhead Drive and Clearbrook Drive.

The advisory says flaggers will be stationed along the route to direct traffic and the roadway will remain open with controlled access while work is underway.

Drivers traveling through the area are encouraged to use caution, allow extra travel time and follow directions from on-site traffic personnel.
