Tuscaloosa City Council District 3 Special Election Set For Tuesday
Voters in Tuscaloosa's District 3 will head to the polls Tuesday, April 14, for a special municipal election

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Voters in Tuscaloosa will head to the polls Tuesday, April 14, for a special municipal election to fill the open District 3 seat on the Tuscaloosa City Council.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with all District 3 voters casting ballots at the Church of the Highlands located at 721 Rice Mine Road Northeast.

As Patch previously reported, the special election ballot will feature commercial real estate developer Richard Henry facing off against former professional football player and CEO of Red Dipper Electric Doug Parrish.
The winner will fill the seat vacated by former District 3 Councilor Norman Crow, who stepped down after being elected to the Alabama House of Representatives.

City officials are encouraging residents to confirm their voting location ahead of time, as polling sites for municipal elections can differ from previous elections.
