TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa Farmers Market will host its inaugural Strawberry Fest next week, celebrating peak strawberry season with local growers and specialty vendors at the Tuscaloosa River Market.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and will offer a similar atmosphere to the market’s weekly Saturday gatherings, according to city officials.

Strawberry Fest will highlight fresh, locally grown strawberries alongside a variety of strawberry-themed baked goods and homemade items.
Vendors are expected to feature everything from fresh produce to specialty treats centered around the seasonal fruit.
