Tuscaloosa’s One Place To Host ‘Fathers In The Park’ Community Event

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Families across Tuscaloosa are invited to take part in the 2026 “Fathers in the Park” community event scheduled for Saturday, June 13, at Snow Hinton Park.

The free event organized by Tuscaloosa's One Place will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature food, games, music, bounce houses, children’s activities, giveaways and community resources, according to promotional materials released by organizers.

Organizers said the event is designed to bring fathers and families together while connecting residents with local vendors and support organizations.

Along with Tuscaloosa’s One Place Family Resource Center, the event is being organized with help from community partners that include the Children’s Trust Fund of Alabama, the Tuscaloosa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., and Piggly Wiggly.
