Alaska Charter Plane Crashes in Heavy Fog at Remote Radar Site After Anchorage Departure, Killing Eight During Second Landing Attempt, NTSB Says (parktelegraph.com) — A chartered Cessna 441 that departed Anchorage crashed in heavy fog Thursday while attempting a second landing at a remote Alaska radar site, killing all eight aboard, according to the NTSB. Investigators say the isolated location and poor visibility complicated the response and will focus on weather, pilot actions, and approach sequence as they work to determine the cause.
