• ADOT's LED lighting project in Flagstaff supports Dark Skies (einpresswire.com) — Flagstaff drivers will soon see new amber LED highway lights as ADOT replaces more than 370 older fixtures on I-17, I-40, Milton Road, and Route 66 to protect the city’s famed dark skies. Developed with the Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition and local policymakers, the project aims to boost roadway safety while preserving views of the night sky.

• 2026 Science Scavenger Hunt (businessdailynetwork.com) — Flagstaff families can team up for a city-wide Science Scavenger Hunt on May 2, starting with swag pickup at Rainbows End on Route 66. Teams of up to four will follow clues around town, snap selfies, compete for prizes, and enjoy refreshments at a post-event celebration.
