Speakers are highlighting how rising costs push working families into tough choices and urging concrete policy and community action. Sessions, a gala, and other events continue through Saturday at the Wyndham Grand Executive Center.

Goodwill Arkansas lands $850K grant to boost skilled trades and fill workforce gap (thv11.com) — Little Rock's Academy of Goodwill is getting a major boost from an $850,000 grant that will expand tuition-free skilled trades training and support services like transportation and childcare. The funding aims to shrink Arkansas's workforce gap by growing welding, construction, and healthcare programs, especially for residents facing housing, childcare, and soft-skill challenges.
