OAKLAND, CA — Police are once again asking for the public's help finding the people responsible for a mass shooting at a school in Oakland in 2022 that left one person dead and several others injured.
It's unclear what led up to the shooting at King Estates school campus on September 28, 2022. Six people were shot, including Kazuhiro David Sakurai, who died on Nov. 17 from "complications of a gunshot wound," according to the Oakland Police Department.
Four years later, details about the shooting remain limited, but police released surveillance footage on Friday in hopes of renewing public interest in the case.
