CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A homeowner got quite the surprise Saturday when, according to authorities, a Tesla driver crashed into the front of a Castro Valley home.

It's unclear what led up to the crash in the 19000 block of Gannett Lane, and authorities did not say what time it happened.

Photos released by the Alameda County Fire Department show what appears to be a white Tesla halfway through the home's entrance. Photos show fire crews towing the car out.
