• Man Sentenced to 8 Years for Shooting in Mission Viejo (mynewsla.com) — A 34-year-old man from Aliso Viejo has been sentenced to eight years in prison for shooting a 21-year-old woman in Mission Viejo after a series of incidents that began with a reported domestic dispute in San Clemente. Deputies say the victim followed his pickup after a hit-and-run before being shot, and the suspect was later captured nearby with substantial time already served in custody.
