Brush Fire Burns South Of Banning: See Map

BANNING, CA — A brush fire that erupted Monday south of Banning has charred 25 acres with zero containment, according to Cal Fire.

The non-injury blaze, dubbed the Panorama Fire, was first reported just after noon in the area of Mt. Edna Road and Highway 243, according the state fire agency.

Multiple engine and hand crews were sent to the location, joined by aircraft crews.

As of 1:30 p.m., no evacuations had been issued.

There were no reports of structure damage.

The cause of the blaze wasn't immediately known.
