BANNING, CA — A man was killed Saturday in a vehicle versus pedestrian hit-and-run crash in Banning.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to a report of a man laying on the side of the road around 11:45 a.m. Saturday on the Banning-Idyllwild Panoramic (243) Highway, north of Mount Edna Road near mile marker 24, according to a CHP incident log.
A reporting party told the CHP that the man had possibly been hit by a car.
