Residents can expect an "accessible luxury" menu, including a dramatic tableside duck service, a carefully crafted burger, and future outdoor patio seating, all designed to keep the landmark's Art Deco character alive.
   

• San Francisco Opera Announces Costume Sale (operawire.com) — Burlingame residents can browse and buy real San Francisco Opera costumes when the company holds a public sale at its local scene shop October 16–18.
