Welcome to our new&nbsp;haunted happy hour, with a few eerie encounters along the way.&nbsp;
For two nights only, The Haunted Courtyard Spook-easy is a ticketed Halloween experience featuring cocktails,&nbsp;spooky fun and a few sinister surprises, all&nbsp;in an intimate, tucked-away setting reserved just for guests of the event.
Enjoy a welcome cocktail upon arrival, followed by spirited sips all evening long (included in the cost of admission).&nbsp;Each approximately one-hour experience begins at The Nightmare Before Blitzen’s, where guests will check in before being escorted to the hidden courtyard. Two entry times&nbsp;are available each evening.
Parents can make a night of it, too. Two hours of childcare at Little Sprouts Kids Club&nbsp;will be available to add on when purchasing tickets for children ages 6 months–12 years.

Brother Benno’s, a nonprofit serving North County, San Diego’s homeless and working poor, invites the community to a special Halloween-themed Last Saturday Sale, Oct. 31, at their award-winning Thrift Shop at 3955 Mission Ave. in Oceanside.
From 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., whimsical shoppers can find wicked savings including 50% off clothes and accessories (bras, ties, belts, scarves, hats, gloves, socks, underwear), purses, shoes, suitcases, lamps, area rugs, appliances, linens, toys, kitchenware and more. 
Boo-tiful costume jewelry, China sets, collectables, and vintage items will be priced at 20% off, and Halloween costumes and decorations priced at a scary 75% off.

Leo Carrillo Historic Park

Join us at Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park for a Día de los Muertos celebration honoring tradition, community and remembrance. Experience this vibrant Mexican holiday as we celebrate loved ones who have passed and embrace the beauty of life.
Leo Carrillo Ranch will be decorated for the holiday the week before and after the Oct. 31 event. Guests are also welcome to visit the park for casual touring during regular park hours.
On Saturday, Oct. 31, the celebration comes to life with music, activities and community gatherings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A traditional ofrenda dedicated to the Carrillo family and colorful decorations will welcome guests throughout the ranch.

How much sleep young children need, what disrupts it, and how to turn bedtime battles into a calmer routine.Each session is led by Dr. Aguilera Rice, a licensed child psychologist at Coastal Therapy Group (PSY33929), and Dr. McCammack, a Carlsbad pediatrician (CA License A130883).
