• Foothill Gold Line E-News Update – August 2026 Community and Project Updates (govdelivery.com) — Claremont residents are getting closer to A Line light-rail service, as final design for the Pomona-to-Claremont extension advances toward 60% completion and major construction targeted for late 2027. Survey and utility crews are already working at Claremont Metrolink Station, Indian Hill Boulevard, and nearby crossings, with more lane closures and third‑party utility projects expected through 2027. 
• New friends, new journeys: CMC's Class of 2030 is here! (cmc.edu) — New students have just moved into Claremont McKenna College, bringing the Class of 2030 to campus with a full day of orientation, mentoring, and welcome events in Claremont. Families and first-generation students learned about new support programs, while student leaders and administrators emphasized belonging, exploration, and personal growth over the next four years.
