• Newsom Signs Law Tailor-Made For Concord Base Redevelopment (patch.com) — Concord's long-debated Naval Weapons Station redevelopment just cleared a major hurdle, as Gov. Gavin Newsom signed SB 328 to speed the massive project. The new law locks in a 25 percent affordability requirement, streamlines environmental review, and shields certain land transfers, while Concord and developer Brookfield prepare a detailed Specific Plan with extensive local input in coming months.

- I was jogging and jamming along to my 90s R&B when I quickly came upon a kitty cat 🐈⬛.
It turns out it wasn't the type of cat I thought it was lol. That was the closest I've ever been to a bobcat. There were a bunch of turkeys nearby… (Nextdoor Clayton Valley Highlands) - This sweet kitty (likely a female) is very friendly & has at least three kittens with her (one gray like in the photo, as well as one black & one white.
) since it was so hot today we set out water for them & a bit of cat kibble, but we want to help them find their home if they are lost! Anybody… (Nextdoor Brookview Manor)
