Danville Police To Take Part In Multi-Agency E-Bike Enforcement Day Tuesday (patch.com) — Danville residents will see stepped-up e-bike enforcement Tuesday as local police join neighboring agencies along the Iron Horse Trail to promote safer riding and compliance with traffic laws. The effort supports Danville's new rules restricting certain e-bikes and motorized scooters in town parks and on multi-use trails, with another enforcement day already scheduled for September. 
2. SRVUSD moves toward selling Danville office site (danvillesanramon.com) — San Ramon Valley Unified is moving ahead with plans to sell its longtime district office property at 699 Old Orchard Drive in Danville after declaring it surplus, a step tied to closing a budget deficit. Public agencies, including the town of Danville, have a 60‑day priority window to express interest before the site can go to private developers, with a final sale likely about a year away.
3. Single-family home sells for $5.8 million in Danville (mercurynews.com) — A newly built single‑story home on Mitchell Way in Danville sold July 10 for $5.8 million, or about $1,166 per square foot. The 4,975‑square‑foot property, on a 1.1‑acre lot with a pool and four‑car garage, reflects the upper end of Danville's luxury housing market.
4. New York Giants signing ex-Saints 4th-round quarterback (usatoday.com) — Former New Orleans Saints quarterback Jake Haener, who grew up in Danville, has signed with the New York Giants to add depth in their quarterback room. The 27‑year‑old Fresno State standout, a fourth‑round 2023 draft pick, joins New York after stints with the Saints and Chiefs and is already practicing with the team.
