Carlos Dominguez transferred to Napa State Hospital for 2023 Davis deadly stabbings (kcra.com) — Residents are getting an update on the 2023 Davis stabbing attacks, as convicted attacker Carlos Reales Dominguez has now been transferred to Napa State Hospital following a judge's finding of legal insanity. Yolo County prosecutors are seeking to extend his hospital commitment beyond the initial six months, after emotional statements from victims' families and a verdict that included involuntary manslaughter convictions.

Teachers Trained in Solar School Curriculum (independentvoice.com) — Teachers from Davis schools, including Harper Junior High and Emerson Junior High, have completed hands-on training with We Care Solar to bring Solar Suitcase Learning Kits into their classrooms. My mother is again making tuna sandwiches tomorrow (Weds, 9/16). My friend I will be heading downtown around 4:45 to deliver. We will also bring… (Nextdoor Mace Ranch) - One easy thing to do, if you're empathetic about homelessness and want to help (aside from donating money to charities or volunteering) is to keep a box of granola bars in your car, or have a couple in your purse.
