Gavin Newsom to sign SB 690, a bill aimed at curbing costly website privacy lawsuits. Co-owner Gytahnna Loffgren says her long-running Dixon electrical and solar firm faced nearly $200,000 in potential damages over routine online tracking tools, and she fears similar suits could threaten other family businesses across Solano County.
