Man Killed In Shopping Center Parking Lot In East Bay: Police
A young man shot outside a restaurant died of his wounds, according to police, who said two suspects fled the scene.
EL CERRITO, CA — A man was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of a shopping center in El Cerrito, according to police.
Officers responded to a call around 12:15 p.m. about a shooting at Del Norte Plaza in the 11200 block of San Pablo Avenue, police said.
A young man had been shot near Los Moles restaurant and died of his wounds, according to police.

Witnesses reported that the victim and suspects were engaged in an altercation at the man’s car when he was shot, police said. After the shooting, the suspects fled south in a dark sedan on South 56th Street, according to police.
The suspects were both young men, according to police, who said one wore a black mask and a black North Face puffy jacket and the other wore a hat and a black Nike jacket.
