Mobile Wedding Ceremonies Coming To Ralph B. Clark Regional Park
Chair Doug Chaffee will sponsor fees and officiate for two preselected couples, officials said.
BUENA PARK, CA — Orange County officials said they will bring mobile wedding ceremonies to Ralph B. Clark Regional Park for the first time, offering two preselected couples a no-cost way to tie the knot on Saturday, Oct. 17. Chair Doug Chaffee will cover the marriage license and civil ceremony fees and will officiate the ceremonies.
The move is part of a push to bring marriage services into the community regardless of weather, officials said, using the Clerk-Recorder on Wheels program to serve couples outside traditional offices. County leaders said the effort showcases regional parks as places where families gather and create lasting memories while strengthening community ties.
The Clerk-Recorder on Wheels unit will also be on site to provide vital records services, fictitious business name filings and copies of property records to the public. Marriage services are limited to the two preselected couples, and no walk-in weddings will be available, according to the county.
