• Fremont Bomber Denied Parole Again, Re-Eligible In 3 Years (patch.com) — A man convicted of planting six pipe bombs around Fremont more than 20 years ago has again been denied parole, with the board saying he still poses a public safety risk. Now 80 and held at San Quentin, he won't be eligible for another hearing for three years, keeping him incarcerated while the decision undergoes a standard 120-day review.
