Tesla workers balk at training Optimus humanoid robots as replacements (arstechnica.com) — Tesla has halted Model S and X production at its Fremont factory and reassigned line workers and engineers to build Optimus humanoid robots, signaling a major strategic shift for the local plant. Employees are reportedly uneasy about training robots that could replace them, while Tesla struggles with complex robot-hand assembly and aims to scale output to more than 1,000 units weekly by year's end.
