Suspect Kicks Kitten, Pepper Sprays Employee Outside Vet Hospital In Fremont: Police

FREMONT, CA — Police say they are investigating after a man kicked a kitten outside a vet hospital in Fremont and then attacked an employee confronting him.

It's unclear whether the suspect was familiar with the kitten before the Oct. 6 attack outside the hospital on Washington Boulevard.

An employee there witnessed the man yelling and kicking the kitten outside, according to the Fremont Police Department.

When the employee went outside to confront the man, he yelled at her and then pepper-sprayed her, police said. Police did not say whether the woman or kitten suffered any injuries during the alleged attack.

The suspect then left on an electric bicycle, police said.
