• Free Compost Available To Glendora Residents Oct. 24 (patch.com) — Glendora residents will soon be able to pick up free compost at a self-service, drive-up event on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Carlyle E. Linder Equestrian Park. With proof of residency, residents can load up to 30 gallons in the first hour, bringing their own containers and tools to safely take advantage of this local resource. 
• 'Halloween Movie In The Park' Creeps Back To Glendora Oct. 16 (patch.com) — Glendora families can get into the Halloween spirit at the 2026 Halloween Movie in the Park on Friday, Oct. 16, at Finkbiner Park's Larry R. Glenn Bandshell. The city's Recreation and Human Services Department is planning themed activities followed by a screening of "Monster Hour" as part of Glendora's October festivities.
