Tonight's "Jam' n Java" online will serve up a perfectly brewed blend of genre-defying Christian and secular music, a cool glimpse of the new Ritchie Valens Bandstand in San Fernando, and a sneak preview of Robby Robinson's latest musical endeavor, "Hymns of Hope: Piano Reflections", while catching up with some awesome music legends such as Chris Montez, who scored major hits with "Let's Dance", "Call Me" and "The More I See You!"

Robby Robinson will recap the recent dedication of the Ritchie Valens Bandstand at American Legion Post 176 in San Fernando, where Ritchie had performed as a teenager, prior to his national success.

Ritchie Valens was one of the very first successful Mexican American rock-n-roll stars, scoring major national hits including, "La Bamba", which inspired a 1987 movie about his life, as well as the plane crash which ended it, featuring Lou Diamond Phillips in a brilliant portrayal of the young music star.

The life of Ritchie Valens was tragically cut short in the infamous 1959 plane crash in Iowa, which also sadly took the lives of musicians Buddy Holly and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson.

The tragic crash also inspired parts of the hit song "American Pie" by Don McLean...who sang of "The Day the Music Died."

Join Robby Robinson and the Jammers for an evening of music, pop culture history, friendship and faith! You'll be glad you did!

"This Monday night we’re taking the Jammers on a fascinating musical journey through two very different - but meaningful - worlds. For the past several days I’ve been deeply immersed in my upcoming project…𝗛𝗬𝗠𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘: 𝗣𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, a peaceful and intimate collection of timeless hymns that have shaped my faith, life, and musical journey. I’ll be giving everyone a special early preview and sharing some of the inspiration behind this very personal new project.", said Jam' n Java host Robby Robinson. "PLUS…Last Thursday I had the honor of performing at the unveiling of the brand new 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 in San Fernando on what would have been Ritchie’s 85th birthday. I’ll share photos, video highlights, backstage stories, and memories from an unforgettable evening celebrating one of rock & roll’s true pioneers - including moments with Chris Montez, Sal Rodriguez from WAR, members of the Valens family, and some fascinating personalities from another era. It’s shaping up to be one of those classic Jam' n Java nights filled with: Great music. Great stories. Great people. Join the Jammers LIVE!"
