Isshoku Kitchen Brings House-Made Noodle Ramen to Culver Drive in Irvine
A new craft ramen shop has quietly opened in Irvine's Walnut Village Center. Isshoku Kitchen (14411 Culver Dr, in the space formerly home to Maji Curry) makes its noodles in-house and keeps the menu focused: a clean Ume Shio chicken ramen brightened with Japanese plum, a rich black garlic tonkotsu, and a spicy tantan, most bowls $17–18.50. The shop is in soft opening now, open daily 11 AM to 9 PM. "We're still learning what Irvine likes," says owner Johnny Yeh. "Honest feedback from neighbors genuinely shapes the menu."
