Firefighter BBQ To Be Held May 2 In Lake Elsinore
The first 1,000 people to show up to the event will receive a free hot dog, chips, and water, city officials said.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A BBQ community appreciation event will be held in Lake Elsinore on Saturday honoring firefighters.
The event, which is sponsored in-part by the city, will include a raffle, free amusements, firefighter competitions, a demonstration of the "Jaws of Life."
The first 1,000 people to show up to the event will receive a free hot dog, chips, and water, city officials said.

"This community appreciation event is a great opportunity to thank our firefighters for their service, enjoy time with family and friends, and support the Burn Institute," city officials said.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Launch Pointe Recreation Destination & RV Park.
