WILDOMAR, CA — The tents are returning in May for the next Wild-O-Market Space event, a pop-up market and family fair to bring community to the heart of Wildomar.

The Wild-O-Market Space event is held in the parking area of Faith Bible Church, located in Wildomar, from 3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, May 3 at 23580 Glazebrook Road. Founded by Darla Dunn and a handful of committed artisans who want to "keep Wildomar Wild," it began last year, as a space where artisans, food vendors, musicians, young creators and local residents can come together.

In 2026, the market will take over the parking lot on three Sundays, bringing with it connection, creativity, and Wildomar pride.

"I wanted to create something special for Wildomar — a place where our community could gather, support small businesses, enjoy local talent, and experience the heart and energy of our city," said Darla Dunn, event founder.

"We may not have a downtown district," she said. "We may not have much shopping or recreation. But what we do have is a beautiful city filled with good people, talented creators, hardworking small businesses, families, neighbors, and community spirit."

Dunn, an artisan in her own right, has long dreamed of this project. She has brought together a group of like-minded people who now regularly sell their wares and celebrate each other for the regular event.

It's becoming something that Wildomar is known for, with visitors coming from Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore and beyond.

"One thing I look forward to is seeing some of these small businesses featured in local stores. I’ve worked Venner markets for a long time, and I’ve seen small businesses go from a 10 x 10 tent to 100 by 100 brick and mortar, and it is the most amazing thing to witness," she told Patch. "There is something special about supporting small businesses right here at home."

"I wish everyone success," Dunn added. "Some vendors are new, just getting their feet wet and trying this out, and many vendors are really committed to becoming a staple in the community, and I just cheer them on."
