• 2 Arrested In East County Debit Card Swap Scheme (patch.com) — Debit card thieves repeatedly targeted bank customers in Lemon Grove, secretly swapping their cards and draining nearly $6,000 before being arrested this week, authorities say. Investigators link the suspects to similar schemes across San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles counties, and are asking anyone who may have been approached at local ATMs or Wells Fargo branches to contact the sheriff's office or Crime Stoppers.
