• The Wente Vineyards Explore Potential Sale Of about 1,500 Acres (independentnews.com) — Wente Vineyards is weighing the sale of about 1,500 acres in and around Livermore, including multiple parcels the City Council recently discussed in closed-session negotiations. The family winery says it's identifying "noncore" properties while planning for future generations amid a softening U.S. wine market. Locals could see changes near Sycamore Grove, Arroyo Road, and Tesla Road.
   

• Scout's Project Upgrades Granada Fountains (independentnews.com) — Granada High School in Livermore just got five new bottle-filling "hydration station" fountains, funded almost entirely by Girl Scout and recent grad Katie Madsen after the district couldn't afford upgrades. Her $16,939 campaign, boosted by local donors and a matching grant, also leaves nearly $1,000 for future filter replacements and possibly a sixth fountain near the athletic fields.
   

• Suspects Arrested for Allegedly Stealing 60 Cartons of Cigarettes in Downtown Livermore (crimevoice.com) — Three people were arrested after allegedly stealing 60 cartons of cigarettes from a business on Old First Street in downtown Livermore, then fleeing toward I-580. Livermore police, working with CHP, stopped the car near San Leandro and recovered the cigarettes. Two suspects from Oakland remain jailed on grand theft and conspiracy allegations, while a Livermore resident suspect is not currently listed in custody.
