LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach Police Department sex crimes detectives have arrested a suspect who they say is responsible for two sexual assault incidents, and that there may be more victims.

In March, a female adult victim reported a sexual assault incident, and during the investigation, police detectives identified the suspect as Victor Carlos Flores, a 36-year-old Long Beach man.

Detectives also identified a second victim who they say was sexually assaulted in August 2018.

"During both incidents, the suspect sexually assaulted the women while he was working as a massage therapist at a business located at 927 East Broadway," police said in a statement.

Flores was arrested April 16 and processed at the Long Beach City Jail. He was booked for felony sexual assault, oral copulation, sexual penetration, and failure to update address per sexual offender registrant requirements.

No bail has been set for him.

Additionally, the business he worked at, La Dolce Vita Spa in the Alamitos Beach neighborhood, was cited for having an unlicensed employee conduct licensed services.

The case is being submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration, police said.

Detectives believe there may be additional unreported incidents and are encouraging possible victims to contact the LBPD's non-emergency line at (562) 435-6711.
