• U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds arrive in Orange County ahead of air show (latimes.com subscription) — Residents near the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos will notice increased jet activity after the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds arrived Tuesday to prepare for this weekend's Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach. The elite F-16 team will stage from the local base while performing high-speed demonstrations over the coast, and nearby communities are advised to expect loud jet noise through Sunday.
