• LGHS will mark 25 years since 9/11 with military flyover (losgatan.com) — Los Gatos High School and the Town will host a 25th‑anniversary 9/11 remembrance with a military jet flyover over Helm Field on Friday, Sept. 11, before the LGHS vs. Clovis football game. Residents can attend the evening ceremony featuring a color guard, national anthem, and a newly relocated memorial plaque honoring alumni Mark Bingham and Todd Beamer. 
• '9/11 at 25' community tribute to be held at the Flame of Liberty (losgatan.com) — A major 9/11 25th‑anniversary tribute is coming to the Flame of Liberty Memorial at the Los Gatos Civic Center on Friday, Sept. 11, starting at 9:30am. Residents can attend for free to hear retired FDNY Lt. Joe Torrillo share his survival story and join veterans, first responders, and neighbors in honoring those lost and those who served.
