Besides a wide variety of adult fiction and non fiction, we have loads of children’s books, cds, dvds, games and puzzles too!   Many items are in “Like New” condition and most are priced at $1 and $2. Think Religious holidays, birthdays, Valentines; think GIFTS. Think Little Free Libraries.   Come and stock up!!!!The sale takes place at the Main Library, 800 Alma Street from 2:00 to 5:00pm on Friday and from 10:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday.

This summer marks a momentous occasion for Music@Menlo: the final festival under the Artistic Directorship of David Finckel and Wu Han. Tickets are now on sale for Redux, a celebratory exploration of chamber music which revisits themes from David and Wu Han's 24 years of leadership.As Music@Menlo entered its second decade, Johann Sebastian Bach became the ideal point of departure. By bringing Baroque music to its highest peak, Bach created a legacy that has inspired composers for centuries. This From Bach program traces that influence through works by Haydn, Mendelssohn, and Brahms, each drawing on Bach’s mastery of counterpoint and fugue. Redwood Symphony closes the 2025 - 2026 season with a “Summer Classics” program featuring well-loved works by Beethoven, Mozart, and Prokofiev.
Prokofiev wrote the playful Overture on Hebrew Themes in New York in 1919 at the request of the Zimro Ensemble, a touring group of Russian-Jewish immigrant musicians.
Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 26, reimagined by Timo Andres, adds inventive cadenzas adapted for a chamber ensemble - while preserving the music’s beauty and charm.Louise Costigan-Kerns is a gifted pianist whose previous appearances with Redwood Symphony have been noted for their magical artistry.
Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1, composed after years of piano works and concertos, stands as a tribute to the traditions of Mozart and the still-living Haydn while showcasing Beethoven’s own startlingly independent spirit.
