• Milpitas woman charged with murder after police say she intentionally ran over friend (kioncentralcoast.com) — A 32‑year‑old Milpitas woman has been charged with murder after police say she intentionally ran over her friend in the parking lot of the Mill Creek Apartments on Dixon Landing Road. Officers later found the damaged SUV near a Walgreens, and the suspect is now held without bail ahead of a September 10 court appearance, while investigators piece together what led to the incident.
