Though thoughtful words, patriotic music selections, and prayerful testimony...this week&rsquo;s Jam&rsquo; n Java online solemnly reminds us our Memorial Day picnic or barbecue at the beach was selflessly given to us as the ultimate gift by those who GAVE their LIVES so we may LIVE our LIVES in FREEDOM. 
This week&rsquo;s Jam&rsquo; n Java honors our American heroes...Military, Police, Fire, First Responders...all those whose supreme sacrifice keeps us walking in freedom&rsquo;s glory. 
&ldquo;On this week&rsquo;s Memorial Day edition of Jam&rsquo; n Java, we&rsquo;ll pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country&hellip; and reflect on the incredible freedoms we enjoy because of their sacrifice. One of the major segments will center around a powerful and unforgettable experience from my own life and career. Back in the early 1980s, I had the honor of performing in Washington D.C. during the events surrounding the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial - &ldquo;The Wall.&rdquo; Even now, decades later, I can still vividly remember the emotion in the air.&rdquo; , said Jam&rsquo; n Java Host Robby Robinson. &ldquo;Hundreds of thousands of veterans, families, and supporters gathered in our nation&rsquo;s capital. Many were carrying deep wounds, painful memories, and emotions that had been buried for years. There was sadness&hellip; pride&hellip; healing&hellip; patriotism&hellip; and an overwhelming sense that America was finally beginning to say, &ldquo;Welcome home.&rdquo; I&rsquo;ll be sharing some personal stories, rare photos from those days, memories from performing there, and clips connected to those historic events. We&rsquo;ll also feature: Clips from A Capital Fourth, Powerful moments from Phil Driscoll, Patriotic music from Robby&rsquo;s Records. Reflections of gratitude for our military, first responders, and all who continue to serve and protect. And honestly&hellip; after everything Southern California has been through recently with the fires&hellip; this Memorial Day feels especially meaningful. We&rsquo;ve all been reminded once again how blessed we are by courageous people willing to run toward danger while others run away.
