• Mountain View pilots AI translation services at public meetings (mv-voice.com) — Mountain View is rolling out a new AI-powered translation service at City Council, Environmental Planning Commission and Rental Housing Committee meetings, letting residents follow discussions in more than 60 languages on their phones or computers. The free pilot, costing about $58,000, offers real-time captions in-person and remotely, plus post-meeting transcripts, while the city gathers feedback to decide whether to expand the program.
