• Hacker Dojo hosts 'hackathon for good' to aid struggling veterans (losaltosonline.com) — Hacker Dojo's Mountain View location will host a three-day "hackathon for good" from Aug. 28–30 to build crisis-response tech for veterans, and organizers are inviting community members of all skill sets to join teams. Participants will learn about veterans' mental health needs, prototype tools like an ultra-simple crisis app, then pitch to local investors for potential startup funding.
