Napa Valley Winery Ranks In Top 10 Tasting-Room Vote (patch.com) — Wine lovers in Napa Valley can toast Davis Estates in Calistoga, which just earned a top-10 spot in USA Today's 2026 ranking of the nation's best wine tasting rooms. Judges praised its seated tastings overlooking northern Napa Valley and immersive tours of the winery and caves, highlighting the region's continued prominence among U.S. wine destinations.
   

2. Napa Flood Control District poised to plan wetlands park (napavalleyregister.com) — Napa County's Flood Control District has landed a $600,000 grant to turn former vineyard land near the city into restored wetlands with a mile-long loop trail and potential interpretive center. Paired with a future city park at South Jefferson Street, the area could exceed 100 acres of new public recreation space, while ongoing flood wall construction continues along the Napa River through late fall.
   

3. Napa County November 3, 2026 (localnewsmatters.org) — Napa County voters will decide Measure B on November 3, 2026, a proposed half‑percent sales tax lasting 18 years to fund wildfire preparedness, watershed protection, and open space. Revenue would be split between the county and the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District, awarded mainly through competitive grants and overseen by a resident committee.
   

4. What Jean-Charles Boisset has planned for his latest acquisition, Napa's Artesa Estate (pressdemocrat.com) — A prominent French vintner has purchased Napa's Artesa Estate and plans to turn the architecturally striking winery into a hub for art, food, and wine experiences while continuing production. The 350-acre Carneros and Mt. Veeder property, valued at nearly $40 million for tax purposes, will host artists, revamped culinary offerings, and new guest experiences aimed at reinforcing confidence in Napa Valley's wine future.
   

5. Napa County foreclosures double from 2024 to 2025 (napavalleyregister.com) — Foreclosures in Napa County more than doubled from 17 in 2024 to 39 in 2025, and early-stage default notices also rose sharply, signaling growing stress for local homeowners. While still far below the 2008 crisis peak, the trend mirrors rising foreclosure activity statewide and nationally, and could affect property values, lending conditions, and neighborhood stability for Napa residents.
